Here’s a list of the Top Five Local Kid Activities as determined by their parents:
-San Diego Zoo
America’s best zoo for kids—and their parents--bar none. The San Diego Zoo has special "Night-time" hours for greater visibility of the nocturnal animals & sleep over events for an exciting camping activity.
- Reuben H. Fleet Space Theatre and Science Museum at Balboa Park
Tens of thousands of elementary school children visit this hands-on museum in Balboa Park each semester. The ‘Blockbuster Room’ has endless blocks for building while the
NASA Command Center is a wanna-be astronaut favorite. You can also take a seat and watch an amazing movie at IMAX theater (some shows are also in Spanish).
-Old Town Historic San Diego
San Diego’s birth is chronicled in Old Town where Mexican and American culture met and meshed during the mid-1800s. Here you’ll find a less commercialized view of San Diego’s birth just a short drive from the San Diego Mission at the western tip of Mission Valley.
-Mission Bay Park
