Toddler Tantrums And Hitting - Can be a Real Problem

Toddlers are becoming more violent and aggressive day by day. Toddler hitting has become something common, which the parents, think that it cannot be fixed. There are many ways to fix a problem, and hitting is not an unusual topic. There are many children that have gone naughty and have started hitting others and biting himself. It can get out of hand sometimes and in that time the parents get worried. It is most common amongst children between the ages from the range of one to of three years of age. Cause of hitting can be that they are either doing it for fun without knowing that they are hurting others or themselves. The other reason can be they are angry and they are expressing the anger through hitting others without themselves realizing the matter.
There are ways to fix toddler hitting and here are some of the ways that can help parents fix the problem. It should be kept in mind that the ways or methods are for children between the ages of one to three years old. The first reason, which is always, the main reason to hit, is the anger problem. It is best to socialize the child with others, and when they start hitting an angry face should be shown so that the child knows he, or she is doing something wrong. The toddler should be taught verbal words like "No, You cannot hit people, Hit the pillow." These words can get to the toddlers, and they will hit the pillows instead of people.
Another reason for toddler hitting can be that they want to interact with other toddlers and adults. When something like this occurs another verbal like can help them understand, and a line can be "call for the person you want instead of hitting them". Parents get puzzled, and worried when the children do not listen to them, and this can be an alarming thing as the parents are the ones that must fix the problems, and not doctors or other relatives. Children will only listen to their parents the most and not the doctors.
The most effective way to stop toddler hitting can be holding the hand and saying "NO HITTING". Those words can have an effect on the child, and he or she will not hit anymore. The process does take time but once it is all over the toddler will be a much better behaved person than earlier.
Toddlers scream when they're happy, and they scream when they're frustrated. When they do it in public it often startles people around them, and embarrasses their parents. So, what do you do?

If your child hits, you must expect to takesteps a few times each day for a couple of weeks until the message sinks in.
