By educational activity a youngster is not just a depend on the teachings of what they have learned in educational institution but the one that teaches from the heart, not from the book. Some times we teach the child not being a child but to be someone that sometimes they doesn’t realize why? Or what are they doing.

Here are some practical life exercises.

1. Equips the child with skills.

2. Fosters independence and self dependence.

3. Nurtures sense of contribution and happiness.

4. Builds self-confidence

5. Develops powerful coordination

6. Inspires the child to respect and love piece of work.

7. Offers avenues for learning

8. Integrates mind, body and spirit.

Why practical life exercises attracts the child? It gives direction to his movements. Inviting ,attractive. Easy to do. Easy to follow. Because the child wills his movements, they help the child towards greater skill and perfection. This in turn leads to a self accepted discipline. Do not interrupt or criticize the young child’s effort, as he/ she may not be willing to return to the activity once the interruption has occurred. Even praise can be interruption. Save it at the end of the task. Represent the activity if necessary at another time, to increase the possibility of success.

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he/ she is someone today. We should not forget the basic teachings in practical life because that is the very important lesson to be learn outside school. It is really very basic but it really plays the very big thing in life. Just to share a quote "One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teacher, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is much necessary raw materials, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child. "
