Mistake #1: Picking fit the kid’s gender



Is your kid a cute boy or a pretty girl? You know boys like robots and trucks, right? And you know that baby girls love Barbie as well?



Yet I see there are people who give their young girl a Transformer robot to play with this Christmas! I agree that there are exceptions. However, unless you know that your kid likes playing with that kind of toys, please don’t make that mistake!



Always remember to buy your kids gifts that fit their genders. Even if s/he doesn't like it, at least it fits the role.



Mistake #2: Choosing inappropriate gifts for your child’s age



Another minor mistake, but it leads to big disappointment.



Let me take toys as example, if you pay close attention you can see that they have something like a badge that tells us the suitable ages of children.



If you have a young son, never buy him something that be harmful while playing. If you have older children, you might consider buying them toys that help grow their creativity.



Mistake #3: Pay less attention on educational gifts



Fact is, your kid loves shiny and colorful things. That’s the reason why educational toys were once abandoned by many.



But they also have a big plus point. And you know what? It can be a great gift for almost every child. Educational toys can't go wrong here!

This is also a good means of getting the children out of your hair, while you are worrying about those last minute things that you have to get on with. 5] A harder game is Where is Santa? A child is chosen to become Rudolf and is escorted out of the room to get blindfolded while someone is selected to be Santa. Rudolf is brought back in and paced in the centre of the circle still blindfolded.



Santa has to wink at various people who have to say "Yo, ho, ho". Santa is the sole one who never speaks.



6] How about Pin the Tail on the Reindeer for the final game and give a prize for the winner of each game.
